How to Install libgeos-dbg software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

libgeos-dbg software package provides Debugging symbols for the GEOS library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libgeos-dbg

libgeos-dbg is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libgeos-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgeos-dbg *

You will get with libgeos-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
